This version uses cigarette smoking as a prime example to illustrate how habits can be dissolved (dishabitization), offering a pathway to healing addictions and breaking free from unwanted patterns.
This version is an unfinished manuscript. Written by an amateur, it must surely have countless weaknesses and errors. As an attempt at a scientific explanation of a phenomenon that has baffled scientists for a hundred years, written by an amateur, I do not expect scientists to take it seriously.
However, as this text is not meant to be discussed in scientific journals, but by people struggling with addictions we are full of hope that it can still provide value and help some people.
Much needs to be improved, rewritten, expanded or shortened before this manuscript can become a book or even be turned into what is called “good science”. Entire concepts such as the “power-modulators” must undergo scrutiny so that they can be improved or even completely replaced by new concepts in the next version.
